Emily Limarzi
The Muskoka Woods experience is more than just a week at camp, a
graduation trip, or a field trip. Muskoka Woods is a place where young
people are able to leave their comfort zone and enter into a world that
challenges their limits.
Each year hundreds of students anxiously await their trip to Muskoka to
take part in the incredible opportunity their peers have spoken about. The
Muskoka Experience~empowers them to return home and keep the Muskoka spirit alive, inspiring others "not to be the best, but to do their best",
in their everyday lives.
The students of the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board never
forget their trip to Muskoka and are extremely grateful for all the fun
they had, the lessons they learned and the wonderful memories they
created.
As a former participant and present facilitator, I know that my life has
truly been enhanced by my Muskoka Woods experiences and I continue to
strive each day to do my best.
